Venice at a glance

Venice - capital of the Veneto region in northeastern Italy, is one of the most popular World Heritage Sites. It is considered a gem of Italian architecture and is built on a group of 118 small islands, separated by canals and connected by bridges. It is famous for its traditional gondolas but also for its cultural events.

How to get there

Venice is accessible through ferry-lines from the ports of Igoumenitsa and Patras.
A well-developed transportation network, including highways and modern railways, is connecting Venice to many well-known and important Italian cities and regions.
Cars can only reach the city's western entry point (Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto), where you may find the largest European Parking Lot.
