SUPERFAST RACING came in third place in the 44th Aegean Rally (ΙΜS A category), scoring yet another podium finish for the Kalamaki Yacht Club. This victory follows in the steps of many other victories for the SUPERFAST RACING crew and skippers Pericles Livas and Nikos Lazos. As usual, it was a closely-fought battle, which was decided on the rally's sixth leg, from Ios to Vouliagmeni
"We started from Ios in force 5 winds, gunning for 1st place, as we had already come in 8th, 2nd, 5th, 3rd and 1st in the previous five legs respectively. Up until that point, we were 2nd overall. As we were approaching Despotiko in Antiparos, wind strength decreased to virtually nothing, which confined us to 8th place on that leg and to 3rd place overall. All in all, we're happy with the results and plan to return in full force next year" commented Pericles Livas upon finishing in Vouliagmeni.

The 44th Aegean Rally concluded on July 23rd 2007, at the Aegean Naval Command, with a glorious ceremony during which all category winners were presented with their awards.
